2022: Noah’s Story
“I was diagnosed with cancer when I was a sophomore in High school. Everything I knew had gone out the window and I didn’t know what was next except for the fact that everything was different now. I was terrified of what I was about to go through, and I didn’t know anyone who would understand what this was like, or what would happen or how this would impact my family.
However, thanks to the kindness of Braulio Fonseca and his perseverance and bravery, some of those fears went away. He raised awareness for me while I was going through treatments. He completed these fundraisers by doing a daring swim across the San-Francisco Bay to Alcatraz Island. I am proud to say he made it across that year and each year since. At the time of this writing I am three years out from my diagnosis, and I am cancer free. I thank people like Braulio who encouraged me to keep fighting, even to this day!”
